Membership
Membership Agreement - Lumberjack Service Society
Membership Dues and Programs
Each member will pay annual dues of Fifty Dollars ($50).
Payment will be due upon signing this agreement and then annually on September 1.
If this Agreement is signed after March 1 of the year, then the membership dues will be prorated to Twenty-Five ($25) for the first year, and Fifty Dollars ($50) will be due on September 1 for each subsequent year.
Membership Responsibilities and Code of Conduct
Members commit to attending at least 50% of the called meetings during the LSS fiscal year from September 1 to August 31.
Members commit to participating in at least 2 service projects during the LSS fiscal year.
Members commit to participating in at least 2 fundraising initiatives during the LSS fiscal year.
Termination
Members may terminate their membership at any time.
Dues are not refundable.
Members may be asked to leave if they are not able to fulfil the commitments agreed to in this Agreement.
Liability
The Lumberjack Service Society is not responsible for any liabilities or damages that a member may incur while participating in the Lumberjack Service Society or any of its sponsored activities and the member hereby waives all claims now or in the future that they may have against the Lumberjack Service Society as a result of their participation in the LSS or any of its sponsored projects or events.
